Day 13 (Dec 15) Blenheim to Wellington 30.7km =1189km total

Last night we camped on the side of the road on a little lake of a winery, it was a bit of a wet night and the frogs and trains kept us company. We woke up early in the morning and did some wine tasting on our way to Picton.

In Picton we wanted to charge our phones and have a coffee at this cafe, Andriy walked inside and askd to plug his phone in an empty socket. The lady replied with a "Im sorry, we do not provide this facility". It was pretty funny and he couldnt be bothered arguing so we went to the dog and frog cafe up the road (much better).

While we waited for the ferry I caught some sprats and pakedie off the boat wharfs.

It was a sweet crossing over the straight. Very rainy and windy but great to get into Wellington and back to the North Island. Homeward stretch now. I crashd at my cousin karas place while Andriy stayed at his friend Andrews.
