A wicked scenic coast
We cycle past the dozens of vineyards coming into Blenheim
Happy to reach blenheim after a tough day of headwinds along the coast
We set up camp next to a lake beside a vineyard
Day 12 (Dec 14) Clarence to Blenheim 105.1km =1158km total
Today was no easier with headwind, the bastard got stronger i think, thanks to Metservice who thought there will be a nice tailwind for us, they were wrong! Whatever charts they are reading they obviously got the North and South mixed up cause there was nothin but headwind again!
Started heading into hill country which was a nice change with an occassional cover from the wind, hills are ok i decided as you get to go downhill afterwards, headwind is not ok, theres no downhill after it!
Blenheim is pretty cool, definatly gotta do a winery tour there sometimes! Infact Marlborough Sounds are pretty cool in general so anyone who is thinking about coming here you definatly should (by car).
