Training

Training mid way down the course

Unfortuntionately in the last two weeks that I have been back paddling I have had problems with the tendons in my biceps and forearms. The 6 weeks off I had recovering from my broken rib gave time for my muscles to shrink and now the stress of training on flat and whitewater has been too much inflamming the bicep and forearm tendons. Thus, I have been having to limit my time on the water to once every two days.

So my fitness may not be the best but my technique is still there and will be enough to get some fast, solid, clean runs for the race next wednesday. I will post the race info. in a couple of days.

Hey Mark, great to catch up on the happenings...I forgot you were heading to Brazil...when is it going to be Canada? :) Life is good here...Jayna and I are both working in Jobs we enjoy and are now looking for a place to buy though the prices are some what ridiculous. I hope the race goes well and your poor muscles get a chance to recover. Always a pleasure catching up on your happenings. Take care Jono

Gee you're not having a good run! You'll have to do some yoga or something - I'm sure you've got it sorted ;)
Hope you get better soon.
