Putting a new seam tape on the tail of my C1
My snapper 6 pounds, 53cm long
27 February 2007
We had a training camp in Rotorua last week after we got back from aussie. It was an awesome week paddling and getting some really high quality training and coaching in on the Kaituna River.
I have been back in Auckland for the last few days just having a bit more time away from paddling before I get back into it.
I have spent the last couple of days fixing my boat and went out fishing with my dad today and caught some huge snapper out the back of Motutuhe Island. I got the biggest snapper of the day at about 6 pounds (2.2kg) 53cm long.

random question: why do you do pounds but then again cm? doesn't make any sence to me... ;o) is that normal in nz? can't remember, sorry.
When my parents and grandparents were kids they used to use pounds and inches so it is a habit for them just I picked up when talking about fish lol
