A cool waterfall we visited in Eildon
8 January 2007
Yesterday we planned for a rest day after all the racing. On our way to Melbourne we stopped at the wildlife park in Healesville before Tania, her sister Shannon and I headed into the city centre of Melbourne. He checked out some shops, drank some slurries (frozen coke), wandered around the waterfront and ate at a couple of restaurants.
I arrived back in Auckland at 1am today (the 9th). Its back into some solid training now leading up to the next senior training camp and then first selection race at the end of the month.
A big thanks to Tanias parents Alison and Mike for all their support during the racing and Sandy and Paul for letting us crash for so many days at their place in Melbourne and giving me a lift to and from the airport.
Also, cheers to the kiwi junior team who helped up out with rides to and from the course in Eildon and good luck to the NZ juniors competing at the Youth Olympic festival in Sydney in a weeks time.
