We flew right over my parents house when coming into Auckland. You can see Browns island in the centre, Rangitoto island above, Glen Dowie on the left and Musick Point on the right.

Today Hamish, James and I flew out of Munich airport on the 35 hour journey back to New Zealand.
You should have seen the luggage we had accumulated throughout the trip between the three of us. Including 5 x 3 ½ metre slalom boats, 4 huge bags and packs, plus our 6 carry on bags, probably combining to over 150kg in weight. Luckily we arranged with the airline to do this so we had no problems at all.
We fly via Dubai (have a night in a hotel there), Singapore, Brisbane and then finally Auckland.
