The after party last night was the perfect way to finish off the World Champs for 2006. The torrential rain created a 5cm blanket of water over the grass in front of the main stage where all the bands played throughout the night. The grass soon turned into a good 20cm of mud as we jumped around European dance style in our rolled up jeans. Us kiwis brought out the rugby ball and it wasn’t long still everyone and everything was saturated in thick mud. We had a lot of fun having comps to see who could slide the furtherest through the mud, followed by a mass swim down the slalom course- man that water was dirty : ) The entertainment continued in the Czech tradition with a huge fire show and three different strip shows. Everyone got into it and had a great time taking advantage of the free beer the entire night.
