I had a couple of relaxing days back in Auckland just hanging out and getting over the jet lag. Now im back in Palmerston North playing catchup on the 4 weeks of uni I missed. I have pulled out the polyprops and jumpers from the back of my wardrobe which together with the nice wood fire in our insulation free flat seem to keep us warm. Its been a bit of a change from the 36 degree highs of Europe to the 12 degree highs of Palmy.
Its nice to be back even though I do wish I was competing in the world uni games in Poland with Tania and Mike in to weeks. But there are only so many labs and lectures I can miss to pass this semester being an internal student.
