Sights of Madrid

17 July 2011

We have enjoyed some well needed sleepins the last couple of days before exploring the city of Madrid. We spent most one one day eating, strolling and sleeping in the park (Parque Retiro).

We also checked out a few famous paintings by a spanish artist named Goya at Museo National Del Prado. Sunday was a great opportunity to check out the market before a quick visit to another art Gallery where we saw paintings by Picasso, Salvador Dali and Miro. In the evening we walked up to Templo do Debod to watch the sunset with plenty of other tourists.
