We arrived into Madrid still hungover and tired from our full on days and nights in Pamplona. We were a bit blown away arriving into Madrid with the most complex metro system I have even seen (2nd largest in the world). However, we quickly found our hostel and went for a quick walk around our neighbourhood. Our hostal was right in the centre surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, metro and even a Kebab shop.

With metro stops ever few hundred metres throughout the city it makes it an easy place to get around. I wish Auckland had one
