On our last full day in Madrid we spent a lot of time on the internet planning our trip around UK. We can't believe how much time it takes just to book a few trains and some accommodation. In the afternoon we went for a (slightly disappointing) walk along the river. The brochure talked it up as a lovely green space- but we found a slightly muddy place in a not so nice part of town. It was all very new- so in 10 years it should be nice.... In the evening we went to a Flamenco show in a small theater. It was mixed with a bit of ballet and a very entertaining 1.5hrs of incredible intense spanish dancing and ballet. We were blown away at the speed and endurance of the performers who seemed to change costumes in 30 seconds between sets. I enjoyed ever minute of it

Another interesting new bridge across the river
The 'Espana baila flamenco' show
We couldnt take any pictures of the show so we got one in the theatre instead
