Visiting the prince and princess in Liechtenstein

11 June 2011

We managed to explore Vaduz and all the main sights of Liechtenstein including the National Museum, Stamp Museum, Royal Castle, Rathhaus, and the small village of Triesenberg

Just another church.....

The government building

Liechtenstein is famous for people sending postcards from here so we decided a visit to the stamp museum was a must.

Cuckoo Clocks were everywhere

This flag was over 340franks ($600 NZ) which puts it into prespective how expensive this country is.

Cow bell

Princes palace on the hill overlooking vaduz

The red house

We didnt actually get the meet the prince as the security guards turned us away from the royal castle

Even the goats wear cow bells

A walk up to Triesenberg gave us some amazing views of the country

Because the rain was out there were snails everywhere

The cool little mountain town of Treisenberg
