Tongatapu Island tour

A three branched coconut tree. The only one in Tonga

Our guide threw some coconuts at a tree and hundreds of bats went crazy flyiung everywhere

Abel Tasmans landing spot. He didnt choose a very good spot as there was 300metres of shallow coral reef in front

The blowholes at low tide still make an impressive splash

Kind of look like a geyser

Another smaller arch on the south of the island

The rugged southern coastline

Island of Eua from the beach at ohalei

An ancient stone arch

We managed to get around all the good sites on the day tour which gave us an insight into tongan life and culture. A small group of us from the hostel jumped into a mini van and off we went.
