Night night was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
We atarted night patrols at 9.30pm like every night and 30 metres down the beach a turtle had come up and was laying eggs. After buying the eggs off the local we watched the mother pat down her non existant nest and make her crawl back into the raging surf. As this turtle entered the water 5 metres away another turtle was crawlig out of the water and up the beach. It went up the top of the beach and dug its hle just before the vegetation. When it started laying we dug a whole behind it hole and took its eggs as it started laying. It was awesome to find our own nest which we went and buried in the hatchery. 10 minutes later another turtle came up the beach 10 metres from this one.
We were on the hot spot tonight and lucky to see so many turtles.

Every night we continue to release the babies who crawl down the beach and somehow make it into the ocean after swimming through some gigantic surf that we are scared to even swim in.
