Day 4 (Dec5) Queenstown to Cromwell 68.7km =355km total


We got a mascott today, Celdric the turtle.

Scenic pee at Nevis Bluff - the biggest rapids in the country

We rocked up to this road side fruit stall, we thought this was pretty funny

We only saw the sign after we had been picking cherries off the tree

We reach cromwell home of the best cherries ever

We made a fire by the lake and it was a clear night away from the city so we could see all the stars


Day 4 (Dec5) Queenstown to Cromwell 68.7km =355km total

We ventured through the Kawarau Gorge past the biggest rapids in the country. we had an awesome backwind and downhill stretches all the way to Cromwell.

We stopped for some local produce and picked cherries off their trees. They were the best cherries ever.

We set up camp on the side of Lake Dunstan. We had an awesome fire, clear night so we saw all the stars and woke up to some amazing view of the mountains
