South America is wow, something different to anywhere I have been before. Arrived into Buenos Aires, Argentina to a chilly 6 degrees just past midnight on Thursday. We were taken to a hotel for a quick kip before catching an internal flight to a place called Iguasu, on the border of brazil, where the famous waterfalls are. In our broken spanish we were able to pick up our rental cars and head across the border to Foz do Iguazu, where I will be for the next 4 weeks.

The sides of the highway are covered in thick tropical jungle, where you expect people to jump out with AK 47s or some monkeys to run out on the road eating bananas.

It wasnt long until I realised how corrupt these two countries are. The borders between the two countries are divided by a bridge across the Iguasu river were we found locals striking i the middle of it. They had set up camp with a bbq smoking and they had blown something up as there was charcol and debry all over the road.
On the brazilian border side I couldnt understand what the border patrol said and presumed they he said it was sweet to drive through. I started driving past the control until the armed guards started yelling and chasing after us......woops. After a few close calls driving the wrong way down a one way street and being cut off by locals on the unmarked roads where there are apparently 3 lanes we made it to the hotel. Its pretty sweet with wireless internet and I have a comfy bed so im happy.
