Now im in Spain : )

The conveyor in La seu d'urgell used to take boats back up to the top of the coujrse. Also, one of the BBQs we have had every night here in spain ,

After the finals on Sunday Tania, Johanns parents and I took the second car on the 16 hour drive to La Seu d’urgell in Spain. This is where the last world cup is to be held. We all had turns at driving on the mesmerising autobarns through the night. I managed to get a few hours sleep so I arrived in Spain at 10am in reasonably good shape : ).

The relaxing 30 degree heat of Spain makes a huge improvement from Augsburg. The course itself is very narrow, and empties into a the small canal from a small sort of lake above. I guess it is similar to Mangahao for those of you that are paddlers, although a bit bigger. It has two very small boat escalators that take you up to the top of the course again like Athens.

We have just done full runs training here today and despite the hard course I did seemed to keep the runs solid all the way down. I am feeling really good, much better than last week. We are looking forward to the opening ceremony on Friday and then racing on Saturday.

Still having trouble uploading photos but should have some more in a couple of days
