We visited Karens parents friends in a small village of Charlton Hill. The weather was great while we were with them. We checked out the local pub to try the local ales, did some walks around the village and joined their tea party with all their friends.
We went for a walk through the village and woods on the otherside of the valley. This is looking back onto the village. There were alleyways, hidden paths and roads everywhere. Someone having living here for 5 years would still get lost.
There are no street numbers for each house in the village. Instead each house has a name so visitors have to just guess where it is. The Kestins house was Ashbourne.
