I have been out fishing a few times in the Waitemata Harbour and we have been pulling in some good catches. I had my line down today for 30 seconds and pulled up a 1.6kg snapper. Dad pulled a 2.2kg snapper a couple of minutes later. There were plenty of kingfish around but they werent taking our bait. We also found some birds working where we pulled in some large kahawai which seem to be everywhere at the moment
