Last day in Hong Kong

1 November 2011

We had a few hours to spare so we bused to the far end of Hong Kong island to check out the Stanley markets and beaches.

Even today there was still a haze in the air which really shows how much pollution is really in the air.

We saw a few home made bamboo decks from peoples apartments

We stopped for a swim at Refuge Bay where we swum to the platforms and sun bathed for a bit. We felt a little tingily after swimming through all the jellyfish.

In Hong Kong feng shui is very important. The hole in this building is for the dragon to get through.

Our Octopus Card - this card is fantastic as you can just scan it and off you go. You can use it for the buses, trams, trains, most shops and even Mcdonalds.

Heading across the one of many big bridges linking all the islands together on our way to the airport
