Thanks to my aunty Pam and Kent and charlie the dog for letting us stay
Day 19 (Dec 21) Tirau to Pukekawa 139.4km =1828km total
Today we got up early to make our planned 130km to Pukekawa. The day was great with sun and only light winds so we made good time. We went through Cambridge and by passed Hamilton to stay on some quiter country roads. Andriy had some more problems with his bike making the ride tougher.
The first 100km were flat until we went inland to Pukekawa as we had to get off the main roads to detour around the start of the Auckland motorway. The expected rolling hills ended up rolling upwards so we were exhausted by the time we got to Uncle Kent and Aunty Pams farm.
We had a nice bbq to refuel us for the last 70km home tommorrow. Thanks for letting us stay Pam and Kent : )
