Danube Cup

31 August 2008

A good 280 paddlers turned up for the Danube Cup this weekend from around the globe. There were lots of tricky flush gates and crunch moves which many people messed up and 50ed. All three race courses were very hard putting me straight in the deep end after having not raced for 5 months. This was great practice as I predict the Uni World Games courses will also be very technical.

In all my races my second runs improved 15-20seconds, so im looking at consistency this week. I finished in 17th on the first day, 13th on the second day and 27th today.
