Selection Race 1 and 2

I won the first 2 races of selection this weekend. The stretch of water on which we raced had never had gates there before until we set them the wires up on Tuesday. It was very bony in places for us C1’s with a couple of interesting upstreams. I had some solid runs on Saturday but was a little slow on the 4 up left course Sunday

Unfortunately, the lack of rain in the North Island over the last few weeks has resulted in low river levels. The Mangahao races that were scheduled for next weekend had to be cancelled and next weekend the races will be held at Kawerau again.
