The match started with huge streamers around the stadium

Security was tight, notice the 2 empty stands on either side of the Boca fans stand
River gets a penalty kick putting them up 2-0
I turned into a river fan, not that I had a choice as I would have been beaten if I had cheered for Boca

Voted top 10 sports match of the year and being in the right place at the right time this was a game I couldn't miss. Boca Juniors vs River Plate Football Match.
The atmosphere was incrediable. I wish I had known some of the chants that EVERYONE knew, that echoed throughout the stadium. River won 2-0 after a couple of goals in the first half.
Security was tight with barbed wire fences on the stands, riot police with dogs and armed guards everywhere. After the match they had to close the stadium up for 40 minutes as the Boca fans left and were long gone.
