My parents and Uncle and Aunty turned up for the racing yesterday to support us kiwis before they finish up their Europe trip next week. I started off my run on friday solidly, getting all the moves really well until I hit an edge in the 4th to last gate and had to roll and paddle back loosing 12sec. An amateur mistake that just happened, no excuses. This made it EXTREMELY difficult to make to semis, with me ending up in 49th. Mike was the only kiwi to make semis, who finished in 26th place. We are off to Slovenia now, where I hope to make a comeback from the race this weekend : )

Also, Jo and Nats (cousin and his girlfriend) turned up, a little late for racing, but good to see them anyway.
