We finally made it to Te Anau where we were welcomed with cold and rain and more rain - not surprising since it rains here over 200 days of the year.

We had a quick drive to Lake Manapouri which had another great view of the mountains.

We had a day before Karen started work so we checked out Lake Manapouri and Te Anau township. In 15 minutes we had seen all of Te Anau - a little place that apparently has 3000 people at present but over 10000 in about January when its going off.
