A massive 7.1 earthquake shook Christchurch in the early hours of Saturday morning causing huge damage throughout the city and surrounding areas. Miracously no one dies but Christchurch is left with a 2 billion dollar cleanup.
On Friday night we were talking about the minor earthquakes in Turangi and Nelson during the day and it was weird to wake up to a big scale one like this.
